I engaged Ben’s PTI services to develop my own personal fitness, one of my better judgment decisions, I then gave him my idea of wanting to do a physical challenge for charity, I knew anything he would come up with would be challenging and he didn’t disappoint!!!
Ben is responsible for getting me to a physical level where I will be able to work at my optimal best in the conditions we are likely to endure.
In the short time I have spent under the supervision and support of Ben I have added a positive structure to both my dietary requirements and physical training; the results of which I am beginning to reap.
Accompanying me of the "Fan Dance" challenge Ben will also be teaching me some of the basic skills needed to orientate the route including map reading and first aid.

I have no hesitation in recommending Ben Williams' Personal Training. For many months now I have been ‘going through the motions’ at the gym; sometimes clearing my conscience but more often than not just fed up with my lack of progress. Having had an initial chat with Ben, I was really impressed with his overall approach to exercise and fitness, as well as his professionalism and enthusiasm. I see Ben once a week now, and no two training sessions are ever alike – so you never get bored or complacent! I am pushed to go that bit further each time, but in a way that increases my motivation week on week, rather than ever feeling self-conscious or out of place (which is how I felt before). It is really hard work, and am constantly being challenged by the next task I’m set, but I would say this is the most positive I have ever been about working out. I really enjoy going to the gym now and use lots of Ben’s innovative ideas and tips when training on my own. His dietary advice and plans are also really practical and well thought out.
Ben is friendly and puts you completely at your ease, but makes you work like never before. Personally, I have never felt better. Thank you Ben, you are a star!" |

I was a bit apprehensive about having a personal trainer as I am very unfit following chemotherapy and thought that ex army PE Instructor it might be way too much for me!!!
Nothing could be further from the truth - Ben is very understanding and empathetic. Not only has he spent many years helping his mother battle cancer and chemotherapy by helping her to keep fit but he has also been confined to a wheelchair himself.
His dietary advice and tips on how to get my metabolism moving again has helped me feel human again for the first time since I started chemotherapy and I can see improvement in my physical fitness from one week to the next. |
